The Beautiful South have had to cancel the 2 Wembley gigs and have also announced that they will not be performing in Cardiff, Newcastle, Manchester or Sheffield.
Dates have already been re-arranged for May and June.
Cast are set to replace the Barenaked Ladies as the support act for the Sheffield Arena date's, However the BNL will continue to support the South at the remaining gigs.

The reason given for the cancellations is that lead vocalist Paul Heaton is suffering with a bad throat infection and is unable to perform to the best of his ability, Although fans are unhappy about the gig's being cancelled I am sure we would rather see a 100% Paul Heaton then have to watch him struggle through the set-list at anything other than his best. Let's all hope Paul gets better and look forward to seeing him in full swing in the near future, As I am sure Paul only want fans to see him at his best too. |
