"Enjoyed it???? god, I haven't been to see a band since Paul Weller about 5 yrs ago. also in Paradiso also shit hot, since I'm more into TechnoTrance these days, I wasn't even going to go it was a last minute thing, I was going with my ex (yea really) and we kind of bickered at each other and said ok forget it, and tickets looked like they were sold out anyway, but something made me msg the ex and say c'mon lets do it, made a call got a number where they had a couple of tickets got there 15 mins before they closed and got 2, and we went, and I'm so glad we did, y'know I've only ever heard "Miaow, Carry On Up The Charts & Blue Is The Color, and I only have a copy of Blue is The Color on tape at the moment, which I listen to everyday and love more everyday. The gig itself was sold out, the Paradiso was as full as a sardine tin, I never expected that, they have a lot of fans here. On stage the band were great, Paul was taking the piss out of everyone and they all seemed to enjoy it, the thing that struck me about them was the way they looked like me and all my friends when we're out enjoying ourselves, they have a closeness with each other that you don't see everywhere, and it's great to see it outside my own circle. As for the songs they played, I remember Rotterdam, Don't Marry Her, You Keep it All In(which got me a poke in the eye from my ex), Liars Bar, Bird On A Wire, Perfect 10, Lure Of The Sea, Have Fun, Good As Gold and Old Red Eyes Is Back, Everybody's Talking At Me (definitely not in that order) + plus aload of other stuff I didn't know, after the gig in the upstairs loungy kind of hall (much much smaller) they were having a 70's or 80's night called "Noodlanding" (translates to Need Landing) and the band were right there just in front of us, winding down and drinkin and dancing just like everyone else, of course my ex had to go up and confirm the lyrics of the "Don't Marry Her" with one of the guys which gave them all a good laugh, and people came up and told them how much they enjoyed the show, it was all well cosey, I was of to the toilet and found Paul on the stairs, so I shook his hand said nice one, he seemed to appreciate it and said thanks, that made my night, so as I said that was first TBS gig and it certainly won't be my last, I just want to be rich now, cos I would definitely follow them on tour without a doubt, each and every gig from now till eternity."
