The Root Of All Evil entered the UK Charts at a dissapointing no. 50 in its first week, This was followed by the bands Great Hits album, Solid Bronze, which entered the charts at no. 10.
The next single from the Beautiful South is set to be released on 5th November and is named "The Root Of All Evil".
Viking FM had the first-play on the track on 26th November.
The following week will see the release of the follow up album to Carry On Up The Charts, The latest compilation of hits from the Beautiful South is to be released on the 12th November and is titled "Solid Bronze - Great Hits"
