The next single from the Album Painting it Red is due for release on December 11th, A week later than the rumour that it would be released on the 4th.

The River \ Just Checkin' entered the UK charts at a disappointing 59, 8 places lower that the South's previous worse chart position of 51 which was set by Let Love Speak Up Itself in 1991.

The band have decided to go for a "Double A Side" including the tracks "Just Checkin'" and "The River". Check out the lyrics to Just Checkin and The River.

The release will include 2 new tracks from Heaton & Rotheray named "Little Chef" (CD2) and "Valentine's Day Wank'" (CD1).
